Debbie began her managerial career in financial services with a successful and fast growing building society, and the combined ethos of customer focus and cost conscious approach remain with her to this day. She has a wealth of experience in operational support gained across a variety of industries including financial services, recruitment and FMCG, and has worked for companies of all shapes and sizes from large nationals to company start-ups.
Debbie joined Cotswold Archaeology in June 2008 and her broad remit as Head of Operational Support includes responsibility for the development and provision of support services to the business including Finance; Human Resources; Logistics; Premises and ICT. Debbie works closely with her colleagues within the Senior Management Team and the Board of Trustees to ensure the strategic growth and success of the company, and has developed a number of key policies and practices such as the company’s Risk Management Policy, Business Continuity Plan and Environmental Policy.
As a Chartered Member of the CIPD, Debbie’s main focus is on the recruitment, development and retention of the company’s highly skilled workforce, ensuring they are equipped and motivated for the challenges of an ambitious and growing business.
